Meet the team

Dr Pete Morgan

Dr. Morgan is a GP with a specialist interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine after completing a Post-Graduate Diploma from Bath University in 2014. He is currently studying for Membership of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine.  He is passionate about helping people with musculoskeletal problems get out of pain and back to their sports or activities as soon as possible!  Dr Morgan also continues to work in A+E and General Practice.


Dr Karen Lothe Lead GP Specialist in Pain and MSK

Dr. Lothe qualified as a doctor in August 1981.  She is currently senior partner at the practice. In November 1999 she achieved a Masters degree in Sports Science from University of London and took an instrumental role in setting up and providing physiotherapy and musculoskeletal care for the pupils attending the Elmhurst Ballet School in Camberley, which was affiliated with the Birmingham Royal Ballet.  Since then, she has developed the musculoskeletal service initially in conjunction with Surrey PCT in the early 2000’s and more recently with the CCG for NHS patients within Surrey Heath. 


John Mitchell

John graduated in 2001 and has worked in predominantly in musculoskeletal outpatients since then.  He obtained the Diploma of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 2006 and the Diploma in Injection Therapy in 2011.   John currently runs the Camberley Physiotherapy & Sports Injury clinic where he works as an advanced practitioner and has attended courses in shoulders, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and acupuncture as well as diagnostic ultrasound.   Prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, John gained a B.Sc in Medical Biochemistry and has studied psychology with the Open University.  He is also a freelance lecturer to M.Sc students.


Carolyn Everett

Carolyn graduated from Kings College Hospital London and has worked in both the private sector and more recently with NHS patients. She has postgraduate certificates in Sports Therapy from the Central London Polytechnic, ITS Coaching, trained in myofascial release techniques and is a member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). She has worked within the Surrey Heath Orthopaedic Treatment and Triage Service and was involved in the setting up of the Surrey Heath Community Pain Clinic. She has a particular interest in helping people with persistent pain problems and treating disorders of the neck, knees and hands. She also runs the Physiotherapy Service at Royal Holloway University.
