Dr Karen Lothe: Lead GP Specialist in Pain and MSK

Dr. Lothe qualified as a doctor in August 1981.  She is currently senior partner at the practice.   In November 1999 she achieved a Masters degree in Sports Science from University of London and took an instrumental role in setting up and providing physiotherapy and musculoskeletal care for the pupils attending the Elmhurst Ballet School in Camberley, which was affiliated with the Birmingham Royal Ballet.  Since then, she has developed the musculoskeletal service initially in conjunction with Surrey PCT in the early 2000’s and more recently with the CCG for NHS patients within Surrey Heath


Dr Mohjr Baloch: Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr Baloch graduated from Guy's and St. Thomas' Medical School in 1997.  He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Pain Medicine of Royal College of Anaesthetists.  He is a Consultant in Pain Medicine at Frimley Hospital in Surrey.  He works as part of an established medicolegal practice receiving instructions from leading law firms and well-established medical reporting agencies


Dr Andrea Haas: Specialist doctor in MSK & Pain and alternative psychological therapies

Dr. Haas is a musculoskeletal and sports medicine physician with over 15 years experience, having worked for the MOD, in private practice and in the NHS. She assesses and provides treatment for a range of musculoskeletal problems. This may include steroid injections, prolotherapy, and acupuncture as well as giving advice on exercise and rehabilitation.  She also has a special interest in the mind- body connection and hypnotherapy for pain management.


Dr Shahin Amaee: Clinical Psychologist specialising in Pain

Dr Amaee is a consultant clinical psychologist with over 20 years of National Health Service and private experience.  She uses mainly cognitive behavioural therapy(CBT) and works to the code of ethics and standards of professional bodies for psychology. She is also registered with HCPC and a member of BPS.  Her specific areas of work are CBT for anxiety disorders, phobias, panic attacks, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship problems, pain management.  She also has a special interests and expertise in eating disorders and neurological disorders.


Dr Sue Webb: Clinical Psychologist specialising in Pain

Dr Webb has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over 20 years with adults in Primary Care services and with older adults and their families in the dementia and secondary care services.  She has been working in an NHS IAPT service for the past 5 years, and specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, although she believes very much in tailoring psychological interventions to suit the individual clients' particular needs.  She provides supervision for other therapists and a consultancy service for complex cases.
Her special area of interest are in major trauma, musculoskeletal disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, depression and depressive disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Alcohol / drug dependency, anxiety disorders, bereavement.


Dr. Natasha Bennett: Clinical Psychologist specialising in Pain

Dr. Bennett is a Clinical Psychologist and completed the ‘DClinPsy Doctorate in Clinical Psychology’ at the University of Essex. She also has a BSc in Psychology and Media Practice, a  PGDip Graduate Diploma in Psychology and an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology. She provides psychological assessment and interventions for a range of mental health difficulties; however, she has a special interest in working with physical health conditions and the impact this has on individuals’ psychological wellbeing. Alongside working in the Community Pain Clinic she works in a Community Mental Health Team for Older People and in a pain clinic based at Windsor.


Carolyn Everett: Physiotherapist

Carolyn graduated from Kings College Hospital London and has worked in both the private sector and more recently with NHS patients. She has postgraduate certificates in Sports Therapy from the Central London Polytechnic, ITS Coaching, trained in myofascial release techniques and is a member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). She has worked within the Surrey Heath Orthopaedic Treatment and Triage Service and was involved in the setting up of the Surrey Heath Community Pain Clinic. She has a particular interest in helping people with persistent pain problems and treating disorders of the neck, knees and hands. She also runs the Physiotherapy Service at Royal Holloway University.


John Mitchell  Physiotherapist

John graduated in physiotherapy in 2001 and has worked in predominantly in musculoskeletal outpatients since then.  He obtained the Diploma of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 2006 and the Diploma in Injection Therapy in 2011.   John currently runs the Camberley Physiotherapy & Sports Injury clinic where he works as an advanced practitioner and has attended courses in persistent pain, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and acupuncture as well as diagnostic ultrasound.   Prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, John gained a B.Sc in Medical Biochemistry and has studied psychology with the Open University.  He is also a freelance lecturer to M.Sc students.
